Superb place. Great food at reasonable prices. Super dog friendly and very chatty and friendly owners who gave us a few local recommendations. Lily and owners will be back

A warm and welcoming cafe this winter! We stopped by after a few jobs in Amble and were not disappointed. Lovely food (soup of the day, fresh made sandwiches, jacket potatoes) and all were generous portions. Everything tasted excellent quality with good ingredients. The cafe itself was comfortable with very friendly staff. Another good and affordable reason to visit Amble when you're on the coast!

I base cleanliness and quality of the food in cafes, on the toilets and soup. The toilet was spotless and as we were late lunch time the soup had sold out! But all the food is freshly made and delicious. The coffee is also worth a mention. Will definitely go again. Our dog was also welcomed and will be keen to eat there again!

Excellent food and service. The two women were friendly and helpful. I had my little boy with me, I didn’t feel rushed or pressurised at any point. Lovely clean baby changing. Dog friendly, the two ladies working were so polite and kind towards my dog, they had house snacks ( dog biscuits for the dogs ).

Absolutely loved our visit to Gracy’s Café in Amble for afternoon tea. From the moment we stepped inside this cozy and charming little spot, we were warmly welcomed—even though it was full, the lovely customers made space for us, which says a lot about the friendly vibe. Our three dogs were treated like VIPs, complete with treats and plenty of fuss, and we felt so comfortable just settling in. The tea was excellent, and the service was genuinely top-notch—attentive without ever making us feel rushed. Although we didn’t eat on this visit, the food coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely delicious—we’ll definitely be back to try it next time. A real gem of a café with heart. Highly recommended!

If you are visiting Amble don’t just stay in the Harbour venture up into the high street and you will find a plethora of amazing places, not least is Gracy’s coffee/cafe. Fantastic food, perfect coffee & wonderful hosts. Best of all dogs are welcome and very much encouraged! Gracy’s will never disappoint

We popped in for light refreshments on our amble around Amble and were instantly greeted by the friendly owners. We had a nice chat with other customers and the owners whilst enjoying our coffee and cake; it felt like we were amongst old friends. What a lovely place!

We spent some time in Amble with friends for the weekend. We were looking for somewhere that could house 7 of us for coffee and cake. We happened to come across Gracys and we are so pleased we did! We got a perfect table, enough for 4 adults and 3 kids. We ordered coffees and the most luxurious hot chocolate we've ever seen! Between us we had scones, millionaire shortbread and the star of the show....Guinness and Chocolate cake! Everything was beautiful. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We had a good laugh with them and they also gave us recommendations for places to visit. We will definitely be back to explore Amble and when we do, Gracys will be our cafe of choice! Thanks for having us.
